Let's ride the Train towards the Stars and on, To Far Away Times...
Introduction - Hello, and welcome to the art site of Joseph Garcia, also known as Kikaioh. The purpose of this site is to display my art, philosophies and viewpoints to the world. Thanks for dropping by!

The Festival - A small town in the countryside begins preparing for the end of the autumn harvest. As dusk approaches and the last threshers and wind-winnows make their ways from the golden crops, pumpkins are carved and torches are lit to prepare for a celebration - the annual Festival of the Stars, a sky-gazing event marked by the beautiful night-long meteor showers in the skies above the village square. As children dance to the music of pan flutes and violins (their claps and laughter filling the crisp autumn air) a warm scent of pie, turkey legs and ginger beer begins to tickle your nose, reminding you of nostalgic, long-forgotten childhood memories. And soon, when the rosy sunset fades into the dark stillness of the night-time sky, onlookers gaze in amazement as stars shoot their ways across the heavens. That feeling of warmth, peace and friendship is the inspiration for this site, and I hope that it may reach you as well. Good fortune to you, Quester, when your journeys across the sea begin once again!

The Author - The author of these pages, who goes under the name Kikaioh, is a well-seasoned adventurer, artist, student and teacher. His passion for art began from an early age, and developed immensely from exposure to anime and video games. Though he gets sidetracked from time to time, his ultimate goal is to someday make an amazing manga/animation.

Acknowledgements - All art on this site, including the site design, was created by Joseph Garcia... except! All of the backgrounds used for the pages are stock photos found from across the internet, and the music in the background (midis for those old enough to remember) are synthesized versions of music from various videos games. I do apologize to those individuals who would prefer that the photos or renditions be removed, it's just that I couldn't have imagined my site any other way. For those who don't mind, I would like to give a collective thanks for making the combination of your works possible through the venue of the internet - for those who do, my sincere apologies, and a promise to remove your material or give credit where it's due. I'd like to thank my family for guiding me to this point in my life, and my friends for helping me find out who I am. And finally, a special thanks to our cat Tabetha for helping all of us to see life from a different point of view. Happy trails!
